Dear Fellow Research Administrators,

2025 has been a wild ride for those of us navigating the ever-evolving landscape of research administration. From funding uncertainties to policy upheaval and everything in between, it is enough to make even the most seasoned administrator’s head spin!

At the Research Administrators Certification Council (RACC), we want to take a moment to remind you that you are not alone. We are here for you! Our mission is “to certify and uphold research administration (RA) standards to advance the profession.” Part of that mission is supporting each and every one of you as you hold steadfast your institutions, research programs, and investigators — even in the choppiest waters.

While policies change, funding trends shift, and crises come and go, your role as a research administrator remains vital. Whether you are helping researchers pivot in response to new regulations, guiding projects through uncertain budgets, or simply keeping spirits up in your office, your work matters — and RACC is here to champion your efforts every step of the way.

No matter what the future holds, know that RACC stands beside you, helping uphold the standards of our profession and supporting research administrators everywhere. Together we advance not just research administration, but the very future of research itself.

With admiration and support,

The Research Administrators Certification Council (RACC)
